BCI Structural Integrity Protocol (BSIP v4.0) defines the four core structural variables, the master formula, and the Data Reliability Grade framework every BCI reading is built on. It does not, on its own, answer the narrower governance questions that sit beneath it: how does a proposed capital deployment get stress-tested against a system's structural capacity before the capital is spent? How does the same structural reading get translated for a CEO, a CFO, and a CMO without becoming three different conclusions? How does BCI test its own blind spots against real business history? What does a structural failure look like before it reaches a financial statement? What stops a client from reshaping the weighting logic behind a reading it doesn't like? Where does a supplementary data signal actually come from, and how is it validated? How does a structural observation translate into language an audit committee can act on? And on what basis does BCI claim any authority to observe a company at all?

The nine protocols indexed below are BCI Lab's answer to each question in turn — the operating layer beneath BSIP v4.0, publishing the working rules a BCI analyst, a BCI system, and a BCI client are each bound by, so that the discipline is auditable rather than asserted.

This is the first time this stack has entered BCI Lab's governed methodology corpus. The underlying drafts, several written under a name — Brand Climate Index — BCI Lab had already retired by the time of this publication, have been rewritten against the same standard BSIP v4.0 now holds every BCI document to: no claim without a source; no automated system described as running before it is; no specific number presented as an instruction. One draft, covering institutional legitimacy, is split here into two independently addressable protocols. Where a draft's original content did not clear the current standard — a specific historical percentile with no underlying distribution behind it, a capital-expenditure trigger phrased as a mandatory instruction, an undefined term with no home elsewhere in BCI's methodology — it was rewritten; where the evidence for a claim did not exist, the claim is marked as not yet cleared rather than quietly repaired.

A note on the protocol numbering. This series runs continuously from BCI-FIN-2026-003 through BCI-GOV-2026-012, with one number reserved: BCI-*-2026-010 covers weighting coefficients and risk-factor detail never intended for external publication, and the gap is recorded rather than closed, consistent with how the Methodology Version Register treats every other numbering gap in BCI Lab's history. Two protocols in this stack — BCI-FIN-2026-003 and BCI-FIN-2026-004 — were drafted alongside BCI-FIN-2026-009 in January 2026 and were not part of the first draft of this page; they were located and brought in once the rest of the stack was already underway. 003 · 004 · 005 · 006 · 007 · 008 · 009 · 010 · 011 · 012

Read across the stack, one thing becomes visible that no single protocol states on its own: these nine documents draw on one evidentiary base, not nine. The M&A Backtest Registry — fifteen real, dated, sourced cases as of BSIP v4.0 — is what BCI-MOD-2026-005 tests its own blind spots against, what BCI-MOD-2026-006 verifies its failure-mode triggers against, what BCI-FIN-2026-003 grounds its pre-deployment stress bands in, and what BCI-FIN-2026-009 cites for its impairment-window language. A structural claim that cannot be traced back to that one registry does not appear in this stack; that constraint is the reason these nine documents can cite each other with confidence instead of restating the same evidence nine different ways.

Every protocol below carries the same closing structure: a Known Limitations note stating what, specifically, is not yet mature about that document; a Citation Standard; and a Relationship to BSIP v4.0 clause confirming that where the two disagree, BSIP governs. None of the nine claims final authority over the four core variables, the master formula, or any DRG grade or boundary value — that authority sits in exactly one place.

Scope — This index and the nine protocols beneath it are companion documents to BSIP v4.0. Where a defined term, proxy, DRG grade, or boundary value is referenced, BSIP v4.0 is the sole authoritative source.
